Love God, love others, and make disciples

Let’s get back to the basics—together.

Scattered along the West MI lakeshore, we are a family of believers living in the greater Holland area. Together, we are committed to obeying God’s word, loving each other, and persevering in prayer.
Acts 2:42

Simple structures, Devoted disciples

We don’t have a building or professional staff. We don’t worry about sustaining a budget or maintaining programs.

We do have daily rhythms of life together, gifted leaders, and fruitful ministry. We “rejoice always, pray continuously, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus [for us]”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Who we are

Individually, we are disciples of Jesus who seek to love God, love others, and make disciples who make disciples. Together, we are a spiritual family, adopted by the Father and united through the blood of Jesus.

We are shepherded by a faithful crew of elders and leaders who aim to seek God humbly and sacrificially serve His people.

What we do

We commit ourselves to meet regularly in small, simple churches that gather to pray, share spiritual gifts, care for each other, read the Word, and walk in obedience to the Word and to the Spirit.

As a broader network, we come together for more teaching, prayer, worship, evangelism, and to meet needs. We gather in homes, parks, and throughout the community.

Who we aren’t

We aren’t worried about branding, buildings, or budgets. We desire to be undistracted by the demands of cumbersome structures, and freed to fully devote ourselves to the ministry of the Gospel.

We rely on the Holy Spirit to equip all of God’s people to be ministers and contributors to the Church. We share generously, serve faithfully, and commit to seeking the Kingdom first.

Be disciples, make disciples

It’s easy to say, but are we actually doing it? Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you that something is broken in the Church. Our numbers are dwindling and so is our witness. Is this really the pure and spotless bride the scriptures speak of?

We don’t think so, and it makes us wonder: Is there a better way?

We think there is, and we invite you to join us.
